Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all services and products provided by 2nd Chance Antiques, including antique refurbishing, furniture restoration, home remodeling services, along with handcrafted jewelry sales. By engaging our services or purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms. Estimates and Pricing are based on visible conditions at the time of evaluation. Hidden damage, structural issues, or material instability may result in additional charges. Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices for custom pieces are subject to material costs and design complexity. A Down-Payment might be required before work begins on any restoration; remodeling, or custom jewelry. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work requested.

Our work is performed with care to preserve the historical integrity of antique items; however, exact color, finish, or texture matches cannot be guaranteed due to age and material variations. Client acknowledges that antique items may be fragile. While all reasonable precautions are taken, pre-existing weaknesses may result in unavoidable changes during restoration. We will not be held responsible for damage caused by prior repairs, hidden structural issues, or wood movement due to environmental changes.

Remodeling timelines are estimates and may change due to weather, material availability, unforeseen structural conditions, or client-requested changes. The client may be responsible for obtaining any required permits unless otherwise agreed in writing. Change orders must be approved in writing and may affect cost and completion time. Jewelry is understood to be handcrafted; slight variations in size, color, and design are natural and not considered defects. Custom jewelry requires design approval before the order begins.

Due to hygiene and customization, custom jewelry sales may be final unless defective. All materials supplied by the client must be disclosed prior to any work completed. We are not responsible for defects in client-provided materials. Ownership of restored items or custom pieces remains with 2nd Chance Antiques until full payment is received. Deposits on custom work are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or work has begun. Remodeling cancellations may be subject to charges for labor completed and materials ordered. Jewelry returns are accepted only for non-custom items within 7 days of purchase in original condition.

Completed items not picked up within 30 days may incur a storage fee. Items left unpaid or unclaimed for more than 90 days may be considered abandoned and sold to recover costs, where permitted by law. We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, supply shortages, or labor disruptions. By approving an estimate, placing an order, or making payment, the client acknowledges that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
